Terms of use

Last updated 7 September 2026. These terms are an agreement between you and Southern Land Tech for Yona (https://app.yona.land) and this marketing site (https://yona.land).

Use the app only if you agree. If you do not, do not create an account.

The product

Yona is a map, hunt log, and club tool for hunters. Your own ground is free: draw it, log hunts, use the forecast, browse Find a Club, and message other hunters.

Yona Pro is $5 per month per hunter. It unlocks Clubs and Toolkit (feed tracker, planting assistant, printable map, parcel tools) for that hunter. Every club member who uses Clubs needs their own Pro. The club president does not pay for the roster.

Pro is billed on the web at https://app.yona.land. The iPhone app does not sell Pro in the app. Android is not part of this product yet.

Account

You must provide a real email (or Google or Apple account) and keep it under your control. You are responsible for what happens on the account.

The app is for adults. Do not sign up if you are under 13.

Your ground, clubs, and content

You own the maps, photos, and notes you add. We need a license to host and display them so the app works. We do not claim your land.

Club maps, roster, and board belong to the club. Officers decide who can edit what. If you leave a club, the club may keep content you added there.

Do not upload anything you do not have the right to use. Do not post other people’s private stands, addresses, or harvest information they did not share.

Maps are a tool, not a survey

Tiles, parcel lines, ownership info, weather, and solunar scores come from us and from third parties (including Mapbox, Landrecords.us, and weather services). They can be wrong, late, or incomplete. Do not treat them as a legal survey, title search, or a substitute for knowing the land. You are responsible for hunting only where you have the right to be.

Paying for Pro

Start Free from https://app.yona.land. Upgrade to Pro on the web when you need Clubs or Toolkit.

Cancel any time in Account → Manage billing (Stripe). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you already paid. You keep Pro until that date. We do not refund leftover days unless the law requires it.

If a payment fails, Pro features may turn off until you fix billing. Your free ground stays.

Prices are in US dollars. We may change the price with notice before the next charge.

Tag Out

Tag Out is an optional game on https://yona.land. You do not have to play it to use Free or Pro.

You may receive one prize per Yona account:

• Three months of Yona Pro at no charge, then $5 per month unless you cancel
• Or Yona Pro for $20 per year, which renews at $20 per year unless you cancel

A win is not cash and is not transferable. We can end the campaign. You claim a prize on the web after you create an account. The iPhone app does not sell these offers.

Messages

Direct and group messages are end-to-end encrypted. Club board posts are not. Do not use Messages for anything you would not put on a radio if the encryption were not there — devices can be lost, and board posts are readable by the club.

Acceptable use

• Follow federal, state, and local hunting and land law.
• Do not harass, impersonate, or try to break into someone else’s account or club.
• Do not scrape, overload, or reverse-engineer the service in a way that harms it.
• Do not use the app to trespass or to publish a map meant to help someone else trespass.

We can suspend or close an account that breaks these rules.

The app is as-is

Hunting is dangerous. Yona does not make it safe. We are not liable for missed hunts, empty feeders, bad weather calls, parcel mistakes, or anything that happens in the woods.

The app is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, Southern Land Tech is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability for a claim is capped at what you paid us for Yona in the 12 months before the claim (or $5 if you never paid).

Some states do not allow these limits. In those states, the limits apply only as far as the law allows.

These sites

The marketing copy on https://yona.land describes the product. Features can change. If the app and the marketing site disagree, the app you are logged into is what you get.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using Yona any time and cancel Pro as above. Delete the account in Account on the web or in the iPhone app, or email hello@yona.land.

We can stop offering the service or a feature. If we shut Pro down we will stop new charges.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top will change. Using the app after an update means you accept it.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Alabama have exclusive venue, except where the law gives you a right to sue elsewhere.
